IPScan - awarded as the first 'Certificate of Excellent Product' by the PPS out of the IP management solutions
Viascope (Kim, Chan Woo, CEO), the leading IP resource management solution provider in Korea, announced that its main product, IPScan solution, was awarded as a Certificate of Excellent Product by the Public Procurement Service (PPS) on June 29, 2007.
Viascope has focused on practicing quality management and improving customers¡¯ reliability since it achieved ISO 9001 in early 2007. IPScan, which has been selected as an Excellent PPS Product, has been known for its superiority and stability, which is now proven by the GS certificate, K mark certificate, and RoHS certificate, etc. IPScan has been installed in more than 700 local companies, public institutions, financial institutions, schools, etc. and supplied and operated in more than 200 companies and public institutions in 18 countries.
The product awarded the "Certificate of Excellent Product" is registered as the procurement Item for the government and the manufacturer is allowed to make an annual unit price contract and will have a better chance to supply public or government institutions. All of these benefits will help to build up the market for the award winning product.
In particular, Viascope thinks it significant that IPScan is the first Certificate of Excellent Product by PPS in the local IPAM industry and expects it will help extend the sales channels for domestic public and governmental institutions, leading to an increase in its sales volume.
